Support Us
The Bhopal Medical Appeal exists purely due to the generosity of ordinary people around the world. We do not accept donations from corporations or multinationals, and all proceeds go to support the survivors of the Bhopal gas disaster.
While we are always grateful to accept donations, there are a number of other ways that you can support our work.
The Bhopal Medical Appeal runs a number of fundraising events throughout the year, including our Yoga for Bhopal program and fielding a team of litter pickers at the Glastonbury festival. Other ways to get involved include setting up your own events or fundraisers, sharing our news and stories on social media, or even signing up to volunteer at the Sambhavna clinic in Bhopal.
Fundraising for the BMA
There are many fun and rewarding ways to fundraise and help provide free healthcare to the survivors of the ongoing disaster in Bhopal.
Yoga for Bhopal
Yoga for Bhopal is a wonderful opportunity to promote the benefits of yoga while helping people affected by the Bhopal gas disaster and the ongoing water contamination.
Volunteering at Sambhavna
Volunteers can contribute significantly to the work at Sambhavna. If you are interested in volunteering, we encourage you to think of a project that would be both meaningful and enjoyable for you, and support the clinic.
Other Ways To Give
As well as direct donations, there are many other ways in which you can support our work. These include giving in celebration by asking others to donate in lieu of gifts on a special occasion, giving in memory of a loved one and legacy donations.
Breathe Fire’… a song for Bhopal
Breathe Fire is a music project conceived and written for the Bhopal Medical Appeal. Its aim is to spread awareness of the ongoing disaster in Bhopal and, ultimately, help shame those in positions of power into doing the right thing.
