We are asking the US Department of justice to ensure that a notice issued by the Bhopal Courts, requiring Dow Chemical to attend court on 13th July, is delivered. The DoJ has failed to deliver similar notices on three previous occasions although this is contrary to the conditions of a Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty signed by both India and the US.
