On the 1st December the BMA in collaboration with SOAS University hosted a special 30th anniversary Globalisation symposium. the Lecture entitled ‘Globalization Since Bhopal: Three Decades of Environmental Disaster’ featured talks by Dr Vandana Shiva, a leading member of the International Forum on Globalisation and prominent figure of the alter-globalisation movement; and Ravi Rajan an associate professor at the Department of Environmental Studies, University of California, Santa Cruz.
