A huge thank you to organiser Danny Cusack, instructor Marion Gilsenan and the Red River Yoga studio in Navan, Ireland, who’s Yoga for Bhopal Week Fundraiser raised €125 for the Bhopal clinics!
Danny kindly provided us with the following round-up of the event:
‘On the afternoon of Sunday, 20th September a small and intimate gathering, observing social distancing measures, enjoyed a yoga and chanting session with teacher Marion Gilsenan at Swynnerton Lodge, in the lovely Boyne Riverside setting a mile outside Navan, the main town in County Meath, located about thirty miles north of Dublin. Following a similar format to previous Red River Yoga for Bhopal events, the afternoon was rounded off with chai and chat. €125 was raised by voluntary donation for the Bhopal Medical Appeal. Moreover we were glad to be able to make this gesture of solidarity with the people of Bhopal. Thanks is due once again to Marion for providing the use of her centre and facilitating the session.’
Thanks again to Danny, Marion, and Red River Yoga for their participation in Yoga for Bhopal Week 2020. We are delighted that they were able to run the event in person and make it such a great success despite the current pandemic.
