To mark the 30th anniversary of the Bhopal gas disaster, Fiona Case, a long-time supporter of the Bhopal Medical Appeal will be holding a Charity Auction on the 2nd of December in Pilton.
Fiona, who works for Glastonbury Festival, has been integral over the years in securing BMA volunteer spaces at Glastonbury.
Her event will be held at the Old Pilton Working Men’s Club. The huge list of items to go on auction range from theatre tickets to festival goody bags, family days out, local Cider and Yeovil Football Club tickets. The star attraction of the auction will include a set of 3 beautiful, one off Glastonbury Festival posters from 1983, 1989 and 1970, printed on aluminium and signed by festival founder Michael Eavis himself.
This event is not ticketed but is expected to be popular. Entry is £3 and includes mulled wine and a mince pie, with live music and club bar.
Card payments will be available on the night with all proceeds from the event going to the Bhopal Medical Appeal. If you can’t make it to the event you can still leave a bid in advance, volunteers will also be taking bids over the phone at the event (please contact Fiona before-hand, details are below).
