On the evening of December 2nd, staff and volunteers from the Sambhavna clinic held a candlelit vigil outside the Union Carbide factory site in Bhopal to mark the 37th anniversary of the disaster. Arranging a flower motif on the ground and surrounding it with candles, they also paid their respects to those who have died by displaying pictures of activists who have lost their lives in the 37 long years of the struggle for justice:
