The Bhopal Medical Appeal helped to found and fund the Sambhavna Trust Clinic, offering free medical care to victims of the 1984 gas disaster in Bhopal, India. We currently fund the Chingari Rehabilitation Centre, which provides free healthcare to children born affected by gas and contaminated water poisoning.

The Bhopal Medical Appeal provides funding to two health clinics offering free medical care to victims of the 1984 gas disaster in Bhopal, India - the Sambhavna Trust Clinic, and the Chingari Rehabilitation Centre.
Sambhavna Clinic
Originally opened in 1994 off the back of our first appeal in the Guardian, the Sambhavna Trust Clinic is dedicated to providing free healthcare to survivors of the Bhopal gas disaster and ongoing water poisoning.
Chingari Rehabilitation Centre
Founded in 2006 by two Bhopal survivors, Rashida Bee and Champadevi Shukla, the Chingari Rehabilitation Centre offers free treatment to children from gas and contaminated water affected families.
