Will you join our Yoga for Bhopal project this year and dedicate a yoga session to the people of Bhopal?
Yoga is used to great effect at the Sambhavna Trust Clinic and we hope that this success will inspire individuals, groups, and studios to support our initiative, which is now in its fourth year.
This December is particularly significant as it marks the 35th anniversary of the Bhopal Disaster, and we hope to build on the passion and enthusiasm that our previous participants have shown with their individual Yoga for Bhopal events. People from the UK, Scotland & Ireland have taken part in a variety of ways, raising awareness of the issue along with much needed funds to help support the vital work of our clinics in Bhopal; one group performed 108 sponsored sun salutations in tribute to Bhopal, while others have held sessions on restorative yoga, perinatal yoga, or meditation, alongside film screenings and Indian food!
For more detailed information on how you can get involved, or to speak to a member of our team in Brighton, please call 01273 603278 or send an email to [email protected] – we’ll be delighted to answer any questions and support your event.
We have a variety of information available on the methods and techniques used at Sambhanva in helping to alleviate various common ailments, we can provide publicity and support materials and you can also order ethically-sourced Yoga for Bhopal T-shirts.
Namaste!
