Here follows a list of forthcoming events involving the BMA. Please do let us know about your own fundraising/ campaigning activities and, if you are producing an event of your own, then we’ll be pleased to post the details on this page. If you have any other suggestions as to where you think we should have a presence then we’d love to hear from you.

Artist’s Open Studio – Saturday 15th – Sunday 16th September 2018, Stroud

Artist and long-term supporter, Olivia Dell invites you to her Open Studio in Stroud over the weekend of Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th September between 11am – 5pm.

Join her for refreshments in the garden and a wander through her extensive collection of sumptuous textiles, including Hungarian blouses and silk embroideries and Central Asian silk coats and Sousanis. Glastonbury Festival – June 2019

Every year the Bhopal Medical Appeal has 100 voluntary litter picking places at Glastonbury Festival.  Although 2018 is a ‘fallow’ year and the festival will not take place, be warned, this is an extremely popular activity and places go very quickly so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like to join us in 2019.

If you are interested, please email mattkay@bhopal.org or call us on 01273 603278.

Yoga For Bhopal

Yoga for Bhopal was conceived after an initial event hosted by Meaghan Delahunt in Edinburgh at the occasion of the 32nd Anniversary of the Bhopal Disaster. To mark the 33rd anniversary of the Bhopal gas disaster, in December 2017, yoga studios around the country held classes designed to raise awareness of ongoing Bhopal Disaster-related issues, and the work of Sambhavna, as well as to raise vital funds to help support the work of the Clinic: CLICK

Future Yoga for Bhopal events will feature here and we hope to take this project much further and reach as many people as possible; if you would like to get involved or host your own event: CLICK

We believe Dow & DuPont must finally accept responsibility for Bhopal. Until then, The Bhopal Medical Appeal funds two award-winning clinics in the city. Both offer free, first-class care to victims of the gas disaster or the ongoing water contamination. The survivors have nowhere else left to turn – please help if you can.
