A cloudy start to the day presented ideal conditions for this year’s London 10K- if not quite so good for our volunteer team as we prepared our ‘traditional’ BMA picnic for the runners. Fortunately, as the day went on, things began to brighten up and those of the runners able to join the gathering in Hyde Park got to enjoy their curry and cold beer!

Our thanks go to all of the runners for their hard work training, running, and fundraising along with our volunteer team. Volunteers on the day included Nigel, Vicki and Chloe Langford, who have helped run the picnic for many years along with Mohibul Haque, from the Al-Amin restaurant in Bethnal Green, London, and his friend Michael Debden.

Our runners and their respective times. Well done to all:

We believe Dow & DuPont must finally accept responsibility for Bhopal. Until then, The Bhopal Medical Appeal funds two award-winning clinics in the city. Both offer free, first-class care to victims of the gas disaster or the ongoing water contamination. The survivors have nowhere else left to turn – please help if you can.
